Job summary

Honda is seeking a skilled engineer for the V6 engine durability test group within the Power Unit Division. You will test, support design, and bring powertrain components into vehicles while meeting regulatory, profitability, and manufacturing targets.

The role involves delivering defined assignments with minimal guidance and mentoring peers. You will develop technical knowledge and lead teams of engineers to meet vehicle function targets, while expanding your expertise through ongoing training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automotive/Electrical) or STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Test, simulate, and ensure parts meet design specs; propose design changes.
• Collect and analyse data using preset tools and formats.
• Prepare sub-system level documentation for senior review.
• Follow project plans, coordinate meetings, and manage budgets/timelines.
• Develop expertise and pursue ongoing training and certifications.
