Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a System Engineer in the Vehicle and Propulsion Controls group to design and develop requirements for propulsion control features across engine, transmission, and electrified propulsion systems.

You will collaborate with global stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to decompose and implement control system requirements, and act as the technical owner for propulsion control features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in systems engineering, design engineering, controls development, or calibration.
• Ability to create logical and physical schematics.
• Experience authoring requirements and specifications.
• Working experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with global stakeholders to define requirements for new technologies and features across engine, transmission, and electrified propulsion systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to decompose and develop control system requirements.
• Serve as the technical owner of propulsion control features for Stellantis's global teams and suppliers.
• Manage and maintain requirements artifacts for the propulsion control system.
• Ensure system quality and robustness using tools such as DFMEA and DFSS.
• Support controls, calibration, and validation teams throughout development and issue resolution.
