Job summary

GKR Search and Selection is seeking a Senior Powerplant Manager to join its engine leasing function. This role blends engine asset management with commercial support and international stakeholder engagement within a global aviation environment.

You will oversee engine leasing transactions, maintenance events, and portfolio oversight while building strong relationships with customers, OEMs and MRO providers. A leadership track record and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Background in commercial aviation engineering, engine maintenance, or asset management.
• Experience in aircraft or engine leasing with exposure to maintenance planning.
• Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements and certification standards.
• Proven leadership, communication and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise throughout engine leasing transaction lifecycles.
• Oversee engine maintenance events, supplier performance and cost control.
• Manage technical records, asset transitions and portfolio oversight.
• Build relationships with customers, OEMs, MRO providers and other industry partners.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting and technical input to support commercial planning and operational delivery.
