Job summary

Tetra Tech seeks an experienced energy expert to support growth across Europe and Eurasia, delivering technical leadership on electricity market design, modelling, and project delivery. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients to advance complex assignments.

You will lead modelling, support business development, and help win work while coordinating workflows and policy-relevant innovations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant energy sector experience.
• Strong understanding of energy system design, economics and regulation.
• Knowledge of European energy market regulations and acquis.
• Experience with large, interconnected power systems and renewables integration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead power system and energy modelling work across Europe and Eurasia.
• Support portfolio delivery and business development for energy projects.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams and interact with clients.
• Prepare proposals and respond to RFps in electricity systems.
• Represent the firm at conferences and industry forums.
