Job summary

Tetra Tech seeks an experienced energy expert to support growth and diversification across Europe and Eurasia. You will work with multidisciplinary teams on international projects, contributing to technical leadership, coordinating workstreams, and supporting team management on complex assignments.

You will interact with clients under supervision of a senior team member, engage banks and investors, and raise the firm’s profile through knowledge sharing on energy transition and technologies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, business or engineering.
• 12+ years in energy sector, investments, electricity/gas systems.
• Experience in investment analysis, project finance, or infrastructure finance.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and management of a portfolio of projects focusing on Europe & Eurasia in line with global growth strategy.
• Structure energy sector investment projects, assess IFI requirements, review contracts, and manage risks.
• Screen, evaluate, prioritize, and build pipelines of high-potential, bankable energy projects.
• Lead technical teams on independent/owner’s engineer assignments and lenders’ technical advisory.
• Engage with banks, DFIs, and private investors to map financing options for energy projects.
• Conduct investment analysis and financial modelling of energy projects.
• Support FIDIC Engineer-related tasks during project implementation and contract administration.
