Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking an Engineering Team Lead – Electrical Power Systems in the San Jose area. The role leads regional power systems analysis, directs project studies, and mentors engineers while coordinating with clients and leadership.

The ideal candidate will hold a PE license, have 7+ years in power systems, and demonstrate strong management and business-development capabilities in a senior technical role.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 7+ years of progressive power systems analysis experience and leadership experience.
• Proficiency with ETAP/SKM/EasyPower or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Direct and approve analytical studies including fault analysis, protective device coordination, arc flash safety, load flow, power quality, and system protection schemes.
• Act as Senior Reviewer and Engineer of Record for technical reports, interconnect studies, and mitigation recommendations.
• Maintain internal quality control standards across study deliverables and presentations.
