Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Power Systems Engineer to lead design, application, and delivery of mission-critical MV switchgear projects up to 38 kV.

You will coordinate with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and customers to develop value-engineered solutions and ensure compliance with standards. The role requires senior technical leadership, RFQ reviews, and support across SCADA, DCS, HMI, IEDs, and protection relays, with up to 10% travel in a multi-site

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical power systems experience in mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution up to 38 kV.
• Experience with switchgear, MCCs, transformers, generators, relays, UPS/battery systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NEMA, IEEE, IEC, UL/CSA, ABS, ANSI C37.1/C37.2.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical advisor to customers, sales, engineering, estimating, manufacturing, and operations.
• Review RFQs, customer specs, drawings to identify risks and impacts.
• Develop value-engineered electrical solutions balancing performance, cost, schedule, manufacturability.
• Provide technical guidance on electrical power systems up to 38 kV.
• Coordinate with testing, certification, and manufacturing teams.
