Job summary

UpCore Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Systems to join our growing engineering consulting team supporting industrial and energy infrastructure projects across North America.

You will lead projects from concept through execution, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with clients, utilities, and contractors on power system designs, protective relays, and switchgear. PE license and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
Proven technical leadership in industrial facilities.
Experience with SKM or ETAP.
Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, API, and AGA standards.

Responsibilities

Lead moderate to large-scale electrical engineering projects from concept through delivery.
Serve as a technical lead and decision-maker on complex engineering issues.
Develop and oversee power system designs, control drawings, engineering calculations, reports, and project documentation.
Design electrical service interconnections in coordination with utility providers.
Prepare specifications for procurement, installation, and testing of electrical equipment.
Perform and/or lead system studies, detailed design, design reviews, field investigations, and technical reporting.
