Job summary

Thea Energy seeks a Senior Electrical Distribution Systems Engineer to lead the design, specification, and integration of power supplies, distribution networks, grid interface, STATCOM, and energy storage for the Eos stellarator. You will coordinate with EPCs and utilities, drive simulations, and shape plant-wide energy management strategies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems.
• 7+ years in power systems, substation design or industrial distribution.

Responsibilities

• Design Eos power distribution architecture (MV/HV, switchgear, panels).
• Define grounding, surge and lightning protection strategies.
• Model load flow, short-circuit, and transient stability.
• Develop technical specs and single-line diagrams.
• Lead external EPC interfaces and design reviews.
