Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of engineering experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas or able to obtain within 1 year
• Experience with advanced distribution planning studies including DER hosting capacity, large load interconnections, and load flow analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced power system analyses to support long-range planning of the Austin Energy distribution grid
• Provide technical oversight of studies and coordinate with engineering, operations, construction, and land-use planning teams
• Develop specifications and standards; manage contracts and monitor budgets and schedules
• Ensure regulatory compliance with NERC, FERC, ERCOT and TX PUC standards
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder-facing presentations
