Job summary

HED is seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in power distribution and power system analysis for medium voltage, low voltage, and DC systems. The candidate focuses on voltage drop, short circuit, selective coordination, and arc flash analysis for large, complex projects, with SKM proficiency.

This role manages analytical portions of electrical scopes, mentors team members, and represents the discipline in client-facing settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• P.E. licensure required.
• 5+ years in the AEC Industry with data centers electrical solutions experience required.
• Understanding of project cost, client relationships, and delivery quality preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational abilities required.
• Revit experience preferred.
• SKM experience preferred.
• Proficient with office software and email.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, flexible and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and documentation of complex electrical systems with power system analysis.
• Perform electrical calculations and curate data into analysis software for system analyses.
• Resolve system conflicts during interdisciplinary coordination with owners and teams.
• Serve as the primary electrical technical contact across project teams.
• Support preparation of technical specifications and submittals.
• Conduct site visits, field verification, and produce field reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers through coaching and feedback.
