Amazon is seeking a Sr. Power Systems Engineer, Energy Storage to develop advanced energy storage and power delivery solutions for AWS data centers. You will model power flow, define storage requirements, and lead cross-functional integration to maximize availability and minimize cost.

You will collaborate with utilities, data center, hardware, compute, software, and operations teams to drive strategic power infrastructure decisions and risk management across global sites.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Professional Engineering License or Architectural License a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in power systems or electrical design.
• Experience with energy storage equipment and controls.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical drawings.
• Experience with scripting languages and data analysis.
• Knowledge of building codes and data center infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Develop energy storage designs (battery, long-duration) and integrate with power sources.
• Model power flow and evaluate energy storage requirements.
• Lead design integration across teams for data center projects.
• Interpret and create SLDs, wiring diagrams, and submittals.
• Collaborate with utilities, hardware, compute, and operations teams.
• Provide input to data center engineering for revisions and upgrades.
