Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) seeks a degreed Conceptual Design Electrical Engineer for a nuclear contract position in Waynesboro, GA. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of power-related experience. A Professional Engineer license is a plus; ETAP experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of power-related electrical design experience.
• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license is a plus.
• Knowledge of ETAP software is a plus.
• NERC/CIP access required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical component replacement design including scope, schedules and diagrams.
• Provide technical direction to engineers, designers and drafters.
• Assist checkout and startup of systems; coordinate with vendors.
• Communicate with outside vendors to support project success.
• Make independent decisions with management guidance.
