Job summary

Doble Engineering is hiring a Senior Client Service Engineer to provide technical and application support to power utility clients under a Service Agreement. You will analyze test results, train customers, and contribute to product development and field support.

The role requires strong communication, willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally, and the ability to work in energized substations. Location may be Marlborough, MA or remote.

Qualifications

• 5 years of utility or similar experience focused on power apparatus.
• Familiarity with Doble products.
• Experience in the power utility industry and familiarity with electrical substation apparatus.
• Understanding diagnostic test techniques for high-voltage power apparatus.
• Strong commitment to customer service and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support on Doble products and analyze test results.
• Deliver training and consultation on power apparatus.
• Support R&D related to application and product development.
• Publish technical articles and participate in conferences.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in a discipline.
• Engage in advanced diagnostic areas of expertise.
• Write diagnostic reports with minimal review.
• Provide high-level training to Doble clients.
• Assist with agenda planning and scheduling, and internal support.
