Job summary

CLP Engineering in Denver seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer-Power Systems Eng IV to design, develop, and oversee civil/structural portions of power projects, including substations and transmission lines.

Responsibilities include planning, design, and cost estimation; coordinating with teams and regulators; mentoring engineers; and ensuring safety and compliance. Strong PE license and 8+ years required; CA license preferred.

Qualifications

• BSCE from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of civil engineering work experience with focus on power systems site development.
• PE license required; CA PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, designs, and cost estimates for power systems site development projects.
• Prepare civil and structural designs for various projects.
• Coordinate with departments, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work products.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely completion.
• Stay up-to-date with technologies, materials, and methods in power systems infrastructure.
