Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Sr. Applications Engineer in Mankato, MN to drive power-generation system development. You’ll interpret equations, analyze test data, and contribute to design validation and reliability assessments.

Applicants should have a degree in engineering with 5+ years of testing experience or 9+ years without a degree, and be willing to travel. A strong background in engine instrumentation and data handling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years or 9+ years experience in testing power systems.
• Willingness to travel 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Specify, size, and select subsystems for power system designs per guidelines.
• Test and validate top-level and sub-level power system components.
• Contribute to new product design via sizing and selection.
• Review and verify product performance through testing.
• Assess reliability against requirements and post-process data into reports.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure robust power system development.
