Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Civil Engineer to provide technical leadership on Power sector projects. Based in Charlotte, NC, you’ll guide project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with HSSE standards while building strong client relationships.

Required is a BS in Civil/Environmental engineering and 10+ years in a similar role; P.E. licensure in NC/SC/VA/WV/MD is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil/Water Resources/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar Senior Project Manager role.
• Professional Licensure (P.E.) in NC/SC/VA/WV/MD desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Senior Project Manager or Project Technical Lead for Power Sector projects, including review and sealing of deliverables.
• Plan, organize, and manage production of project deliverables with on‑time, high‑quality results and cost control.
• Develop environmental permitting strategy and coordinate with agencies for permit applications.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and project teams; mentor staff and maintain client relationships.
