Job summary

Downer Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead power projects, ensuring safety, schedules, and budget compliance across substation, transmission and BESS initiatives. You will coordinate multi-discipline teams, oversee tenders, and deliver accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Requires proven end-to-end project management on complex power infrastructure projects.
• Ability to deliver against contractual and financial targets.
• Strong knowledge of AS/NZ/ISO standards and relevant electrical legislation.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of substation, transmission and BESS projects.
• Lead tender submissions through to execution and close-out.
• Own scope, design coordination and construction methodology across complex power assets.
• Develop and manage WBS, project schedules, budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure safety, on-time delivery, and quality within budget.
• Provide timely financial reporting on all costs.
• Deliver high-quality reporting within required timeframes.
