Job summary

GridTech Power is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead construction management for power substations, switchyards, and BESS facilities nationwide. You will own multiple projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance while coordinating contracts, procurement, and client relationships from initiation to closeout.

The role requires hands-on leadership in both office and on-site environments, with travel to project sites and client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with the ability to drive throughout the United States.
• Ability to fly throughout the continental U.S. as needed.
• Strong communication skills—written and verbal— with clients and teams.
• Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities across multiple projects.
• Strong coordination and logistics capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Solid understanding of scheduling and project planning principles.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods.
• Familiarity with Construction/Project Management best practices and methodologies.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee construction management activities for substations, switchyards, and BESS facilities nationwide.
• Partner with Safety Manager to enforce safety policies on all active projects.
• Interface with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for seamless execution.
• Oversee procurement of equipment and materials and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop, maintain, and track project schedules across multiple projects.
• Identify, track, and communicate all contract changes and manage closeout activities.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress reports to stakeholders.
• Travel to new projects and attend meetings as required.
