Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced PowerPlatform Consultant to design, build, and modernize business applications across the Microsoft PowerPlatform. You will guide requirements, architecture, development, deployment, and governance for enterprise Dataverse implementations and legacy modernization projects.

You will articulate data models in client-facing workshops, while also delivering plugins in C# and configuring governance policies.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on PowerPlatform development/consulting experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design and build PowerPlatform solutions (Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps).
Develop Dataverse data models including tables, relationships, business rules, and security roles.
Build Power Pages portals for external-facing client experiences.
Author custom logic using Power Fx, C# plugins, and JSON-based configurations.
Automate business processes using Power Automate and integrate connectors/Azure services.
Lead or support legacy system conversions (InfoPath decommissioning, SharePoint workflows).
Implement governance: environment strategy, DLP policies, solution layering, ALM practices.
Design and maintain security models (roles, teams, security).
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Provide licensing and capacity planning guidance for PowerPlatform environments.
