Job summary

Astyra Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer for a 9-month contract in Mechanicsville, VA. The role is hybrid and local to Mechanicsville only. The ideal candidate will design, build, and deploy Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages, with Dataverse integration and Copilot Studio usage.

Responsibilities include leading requirements sessions, mapping business needs to platform solutions, and ensuring best practices. Certifications in Power Apps are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform customization, configuration, development, deployment.
• Certifications in Power Apps Professional or Power Apps Developer.
• Lead functionality discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Strong communication skills to bridge technical and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and configure Power Apps and Power Automate (Canvas and Model-driven).
• Create Power Pages for external and internal sites and portals.
• Demonstrate Power Platform customization, deployment, and usage experience.
• Lead workshops and gather requirements with business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce platform standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot Power Platform issues and document solutions with IT teams.
• Develop design solutions and docs for common use cases.
