Job summary

Applied Information Sciences (AIS) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Power Platform practice. Build accessible Power Apps, Power Automate solutions, and data integrations for a federal client, with strong focus on security and reliability.

You will collaborate with clients, mentors, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable applications, implement ALM practices, and document configurations and procedures. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building business applications with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, Power Fx, connectors, solution packaging, and Power Platform ALM.
• Ability to implement complex forms, conditional workflows, and robust data-validation logic.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and secure integration practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Canvas and model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and supporting Dataverse or SharePoint components.
• Implement data validation, user experience patterns, role-based access, error handling, auditability, and notifications.
• Build solution packages and participate in disciplined ALM, source control, release, and environment-promotion practices.
• Integrate applications with approved APIs, flat-file exports, SharePoint, Azure services, and enterprise data sources.
• Support peer reviews, unit testing, system testing, UAT defect resolution, and production readiness.
• Document application configuration, support procedures, and user guidance.
