Job summary

Applied Information Sciences is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to build accessible Power Apps and automations for a federal client. You will modernize legacy processes, implement robust data validation, and support ALM practices.

As a senior developer, you will lead design decisions, mentor teammates, and collaborate directly with clients. A strong background in Power Platform and Azure services is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building business applications with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, Power Fx, connectors, and Power Platform ALM.
• Ability to implement complex forms, conditional workflows, and robust data-validation logic; REST APIs and JSON knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop Canvas and model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and supporting Dataverse or SharePoint components.
• Implement data validation, user experience patterns, role-based access, error handling, auditability, and notifications.
• Build solution packages and participate in ALM, source control, release, and environment-promotion practices.
• Integrate applications with approved APIs, flat-file exports, SharePoint, Azure services, and enterprise data sources.
• Support peer reviews, unit testing, system testing, UAT defect resolution, and production readiness.
• Document application configuration, support procedures, and user guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Canvas and model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and supporting Dataverse or SharePoint components
• Implement data validation, user experience patterns, role-based access, error handling, auditability, and notifications
• Build solution packages and participate in disciplined ALM, source control, release, and environment-promotion practices
• Integrate applications with approved APIs, flat-file exports, SharePoint, Azure services, and enterprise data sources

Required For This Opportunity

The targeted base salary range for this role is $100,000-$150,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
