Job summary

AECOM is a global infrastructure firm seeking developers to transform data and automate processes for federal, state, and private clients. This client-facing role emphasizes workshop leadership, collaboration across teams, and accurate time allocation on multiple projects.

You will leverage Power Platform, ETL fundamentals, database design, and OO programming to deliver scalable solutions while communicating clearly with clients and stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Information Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field with 6+ years experience or equivalent.
Experience designing and building tools for process automation including PowerApps or competitive platforms.
Experience designing and building dashboards and working with relational databases.
US Citizenship is required due to government-related projects.

Responsibilities

Design, create, and maintain automation and BI tools and the data structures that feed them.
Understand client needs and collaborate with experts to achieve objectives.
Plan steps to meet client requirements and estimate effort and schedule.
Explain technical challenges and solutions to non-technical decision makers.
Query databases and use APIs to obtain data.
Propose innovative solutions for client needs.
Proactively engage with mentors, coworkers, and clients worldwide.
Lead workshops and coordinate requirements with clients, in person or remotely.
