Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Digital Solutions Technical Director to lead application development, database management, automation, and modernization efforts. You will architect Power Platform solutions and oversee APIs, dashboards, and reporting across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities include setting standards, mentoring developers, and aligning cybersecurity with development practices. This role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain necessary clearances, with hybrid work in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of application development and database management experience.
• Minimum 5 years of automation, dashboard development, and workflow implementation experience.
• Experience supporting DHS, DoD, or Coast Guard programs.
• US Citizenship is required; ability to obtain Public Trust and CAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise applications and automated workflows.
• Architect Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Develop and maintain databases, APIs, integrations, dashboards, and reporting.
• Oversee application modernization and system integration efforts.
• Establish coding standards, governance, and technical documentation.
• Support cybersecurity requirements and secure development practices.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across the team.
• Support AI and automation initiatives where applicable.
• Ensure scalable, maintainable, and compliant applications.
