Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer II specializing in Power Platform and Collaboration engineering to design, develop, and support Power Platform solutions and Azure-based cloud services.

The role partners with development, DevOps, and platform teams to ensure scalable, secure, maintainable, and highly available solutions while owning operational responsibilities and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in software or systems engineering with cloud platforms.
• Experience with Power Platform, Dataverse, and ALM.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and security.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading small initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plans, designs, develops, and supports software systems and platform solutions, including Power Platform applications and cloud-based services.
• Designs, builds, and supports solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse; administer and support the Power Platform environment.
• Troubleshoots and resolves production issues across Power Platform solutions, including applications, automations, integrations, and data models.
• Supports ALM practices, including solution packaging, deployment, and environment governance.
• Implements security, data integrity, and compliance standards across supported platforms.
• Contributes to Azure cloud platform reliability by troubleshooting infrastructure and platform issues.
