Job summary

SOSi is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to join on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will design and implement Power Apps, automate workflows with Power Automate, and build Power BI analytics for Army Records Management and related DoD programs.

You will mentor junior developers, support project planning, and ensure compliance with security and government requirements throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• 5–7 years of technical development experience.
• Bachelor’s or higher in engineering, science, tech or business management.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Strong experience with Dataverse, Power Fx, and related tools.
• Experience modifying or integrating GOTS applications within Army/DoD environments.
• Knowledge of configuration management and Change Control Board (CCB) processes.
• Ability to produce accurate development effort estimations for project scheduling.
• Proven ability to lead technical development across multiple IT projects.
• Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with enterprise data sources, including SQL and SharePoint.
• Ability to design and analyze complex data models for enterprise applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex engineering issues.
• Experience conducting technical studies and evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Power Apps applications.
• Build automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline mission processes.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, data models, and analytical reports.
• Analyze requirements to create detailed solution designs.
• Develop, configure, and maintain Dataverse tables and relationships.
• Lead technical development across Army/DoD IT projects.
• Mentor junior developers and guide technical teams.
• Support project planning, estimation, and scheduling.
• Report and monitor progress across the SDLC.
• Integrate GOTS systems with Power Platform solutions.
• Modify and enhance GOTS applications for evolving needs.
• Ensure security, compliance, and RM requirements.
• Maintain complete technical documentation across SDLC.
• Coordinate development activities to meet deadlines.
