Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Senior Registered Structural Engineer for Power Generation in a hybrid US-based role. The candidate will provide technical leadership across multi‑discipline teams, ensure code compliance, and guide complex design calculations for medium to mega projects.

Minimum 11 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; active engineering licensure is necessary.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 11+ years of related work experience.
• Active engineering licensure/registration to support engineer of record is required.
• Ability to work across multi-discipline teams on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance on design guides, standards, and engineering codes.
• Prepares complex engineering deliverables for large projects.
• Develops and applies advanced engineering solutions to problems.
• Manages budgets, schedules, and quality for assigned projects.
• Coordinates with internal/external teams on complex projects.
• Supports business development and client interests.
