Job summary

The role includes supervising both salaried and hourly staff, ensuring safe and efficient boiler operations and providing on-call coverage for emergencies. The ideal candidate will have extensive steam power plant experience, strong leadership, and a track record of safety compliance in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Ten years of applicable steam power plant experience with leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise control of power plant operations including steam temperatures, pressures, superheat, and steam quality.
• Oversee feed-water chemistry and monitor related parameters for safe boiler operation.
• Direct planned and preventative maintenance using CMMS and manage material inventory.
• Train and motivate staff to meet Operational Excellence goals and control operating costs.
• Coordinate daily production targets with other departments and communicate effectively with employees.
