Job summary

You will develop programs, calibrate instruments, mentor staff, and translate complex results into actionable insights for management, with occasional travel to Clover Power Station as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in power generation, industrial chemistry, or a regulated environment.
• In-depth knowledge of analytical chemistry principles, laboratory concepts, and techniques.
• Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to power station operations.
• Ability to independently review, interpret, and trend chemistry and corrosion data.
• Proven skills in troubleshooting analytical instrumentation, sampling systems, and chemistry-related process issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced chemistry support for water, fuel, and environmental samples.
• Interpret chemistry data and trend adverse findings.
• Develop, implement, and maintain chemistry programs to meet regulatory requirements.
• Calibrate, validate, and troubleshoot laboratory and online analytical equipment.
• Prepare technical reports and data visualizations for management.
