Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Senior Power Options Trader based in Houston, TX. You will manage portfolio optionality and customer requests while optimizing load and assets across North American markets, with emphasis on ERCOT, PJM, and the Northeast.

You will deploy options and non-linear power positions, apply quantitative methods, and collaborate with retail and asset optimization teams to develop risk management strategies. Hybrid work: three days in-office, two remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in finance, economics, mathematics
• Minimum five years of options trading experience
• Strong knowledge of North American power market fundamentals
• Proficient in Python, R, or SQL for trading algorithms
• Clear communicator, autonomous and adaptable to change
