ENGIE North America in Houston, TX seeks a Portfolio Management Advisor to own P&L for the retail power book and to lead hedging and pricing strategies. You will coordinate with Sales, Origination, Trading, Risk, and Operations to optimize profitability in deregulated markets across CAISO, PJM, NEPOOL, NYISO, and MISO.

You will validate forecasts, develop forward curves, and present market fundamentals to leadership, ensuring compliance with industry standards in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in the retail power industry.
• Deep experience in retail power portfolio management, especially PJM and MISO.
• Knowledge of energy market fundamentals, pricing methodologies, and hedging strategies.

Responsabilités

• Trade financial and physical instruments for Energy, Capacity, RECs, and related products.
• Validate load forecasts and oversee day-ahead schedules.
• Produce and reconcile daily NOP and MTM reports.
• Aggregate revenue and cost data to measure profitability.
• Calibrate forward price curves for Energy, Capacity, and related costs.
• Manage price and volume risk for retail load.
• Coordinate with Sales, Origination, Trading, Risk, and Operations to gain insights.
