Job summary

Enverus is seeking a Senior Analyst, Power Markets – Long-Term Forecasting (Modelling) to own the long-horizon price forecast model for North American ISOs. You will work with regional analysts on load, capacity, retirements, fuel, and policy assumptions, run the model, validate outputs, and explain results to the team.

Qualifications

• 1 to 6 years of hands-on power market modelling in production.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to explain forecasts clearly.
• Experience operating a long-term power price or capacity expansion model in production.
• Own your view on supply, demand, and price formation with defendable rationale.
• Ability to calibrate model to history and identify real signals.

Responsibilities

• Own the model and help shape the view for long-term forecasts.
• Collaborate with regional analysts on inputs, runs, and validation.
• Explain model results and mechanics to non-specialists in plain language.
• Manage quarterly cycle development and schedule with minimal supervision.
• Ensure model documentation and continuity across cycles.
