The engineer will bridge HV power concepts with business objectives, collaborating with PMs, client teams, and utilities to drive projects from scoping through execution.

Qualifications

• BSEE from ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years in power delivery or transmission.
• Proficiency with load-flow software.
• Knowledge of 69kV–765kV systems.
• Ability to read construction docs and RFPs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME to identify issues, prepare technical reports and represent the org in regional planning roles.
• Translate load-flow results and analyses into business risks and financial options for executives.
• Scope power delivery projects, prepare ROM cost estimates, support land/permit acquisitions, and provide due diligence for EPC projects.
• Lead client engagement with electric utilities regarding feasibility studies and interconnection processes.
• Navigate ISO/RTO interconnection processes and maintain NERC/FERC compliance; perform contingency analyses.
• Analyze operational scenarios to identify grid challenges and opportunities.
