Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Principal Power Hardware Engineer to design and evaluate electrical/electronic parts and power delivery architectures for advanced hardware systems. This onsite role requires leadership across multiple platforms and mentoring of engineers.

The position emphasizes developing robust power solutions, validating designs, and driving continuous improvement in a global organization based in Sunnyvale. On-site presence is required for 3+ days per week.

Qualifications

• 12+ years related Power Design Engineering experience (BSEE minimum, MS EE a plus).
• Experience with liquid-cooled power systems and high-voltage architectures (±400 VDC/800 VDC input).
• Solid experience with schematic capture and simulation tools (including SPICE).
• Familiarity with multilayer PCB Layout tools and Cadence Sigrity PowerDC.

Responsibilities

• Establishes architecture and methodologies for power hardware design across multiple platforms.
• Lead power hardware projects from architecture through validation and manufacturing release.
• Mentor team members and drive innovation and standardization within Power Systems Development.
