Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of Simple and Combined Cycle projects in the Heavy Duty Gas Power sector. You will oversee the full lifecycle, from contract signing to obligations met, and act as the main customer contact throughout the project.

The role demands 7+ years of PM experience in power generation or large capital projects, PMP certification, and the ability to travel up to 30% for site engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in power generation equipment, construction, or large capital projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to customer sites and other locations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience with large capital project costs and estimates.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Field experience or equivalent in project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of Simple and Combined Cycle projects within Heavy Duty Gas Power.
• Manage full project lifecycle from contract signing through completion of obligations.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned projects.
• Lead customer engagement, negotiations, and issue resolution.
• Direct end-to-end execution of mega, complex, non-turnkey projects.
• Develop execution strategies with the ITO Commercial Manager and transition projects to execution.
• Coordinate contract reviews for alignment on requirements, scope, and obligations.
• Own project revenue, margins, cash, and budgets; manage operating plans.
