Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy industry, electric generation or related field with proven process improvements and team leadership.
• 3+ years lead experience in heavy industry.
• Willingness to support 24/7 operations including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong leadership, people management, and teamwork to foster accountability.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate data, identify gaps and implement solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with internal teams and partners.
• Financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Excellent organizational and time management in fast-paced settings.
• Valid driver's license required for company operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, reliable, efficient day-to-day operation of power generation facilities.
• Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to meet business objectives.
• Direct operations staff and coordinate across shifts, including staffing and timekeeping.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate Operations and Maintenance personnel.
• Promote strong safety culture and regulatory compliance across all activities.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, Dispatch, contractors and vendors.
• Monitor performance, investigate gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and manage operating budgets, forecast expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
