Job summary

NiSource Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (Mid-Level) for New Power Generation Construction to plan, coordinate, and deliver gas transmission and distribution capital projects.

You will lead planning, estimating, permitting, procurement, and construction oversight to meet safety, schedule, and budget targets. You will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies, manage risk, and report progress and milestones to stakeholders, ensuring compliant, cost-effective project

Qualifications

• 9+ years total experience in related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing construction-related projects.
• 3+ years of experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages planning, estimating, permitting, scheduling, and risk analysis for assigned projects.
• Establishes and maintains project scope, schedule, cost baselines, and change management processes
• Leads material procurement, engineering services coordination, pipeline interconnects, land agreements, and reimbursements
• Monitors field construction activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution
