The incumbent will direct operations staff, coordinate across shifts, and implement strategies to improve availability and performance.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in heavy industry and electric generation with leadership responsibility.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasting and performance metrics.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours for 24/7 operations.

Aufgaben

• Lead safe, reliable, efficient operation of power generation facilities.
• Develop strategies, policies and process improvements to improve availability and performance.
• Direct operations staff across shifts and manage staffing and timekeeping.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate operations personnel.
• Promote safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance, planning, engineering, and contractors.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and manage operating budgets and forecasts.
• Identify risks and communicate updates to leadership.
• Support labor relations and grievance processes.
