Analog Devices, Inc. in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Staff Power Field Applications Engineer to support the IVR Empower portfolio from design-in to production readiness.

You will work with customers on system-level evaluation, simulation, and bring-up of datacenter solutions. Responsibilities include developing design collateral, reviewing implementations, performing lab testing, and coordinating multiple engagements with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BSEE required; MSEE in power electronics preferred.
• 5+ years of Power Field Applications Engineering with Tier‑1 customers.
• 3+ years’ experience with DC‑DC converter design and PMICs for high current low-voltage applications.
• Hands‑on with lab equipment and automated measurements; Python for testing.
• PCB design, layout and optimization using Cadence Allegro.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into robust power solutions and guide implementation.
• Engage with customers to gather targets and present technical proposals.
• Develop and maintain design collateral (schematics, layouts, specs).
• Evaluate prototypes, troubleshoot issues, and perform system testing in labs.
• Manage multiple customer engagements and travel as needed.
