Job summary

PROCESS TECHNOLOGY in Mentor, OH is seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to design and develop advanced power supply systems. Responsibilities include design, test, and project management across the product lifecycle for 100W to 300 kW ranges, with AC/DC and DSP/MCU control.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in analog and digital power electronics, hands-on bench work, and experience with simulation and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in power electronics design and validation.
• Experience with bidirectional, four-quadrant power supplies a plus.
• Proficient in analog circuits and PDN design.
• Experience using DSP/MCU for control of power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronics circuits, BOMs and schematics.
• Benchmark, test, and validate power supplies and loads.
• Collaborate with firmware/embedded to drive digital control integration.
• Prepare design documentation and test procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and EMI/EMC standards.
