Job summary

Critical Loop is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to lead hardware development from architecture through production release. You will own high-voltage power stages, motor-drive electronics, and FPGA-based control, collaborating with leadership to drive system-level decisions.

The role requires hands-on expertise in power electronics, mixed-signal design, and robust documentation for manufacturing. A bachelor’s in EE and 3–7 years’ hardware experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 3–7 years of hardware/product development experience.
• Extensive hands-on power electronics experience (DC-DC, motor drives, high-voltage).
• Strong mixed-signal design including ADCs, sensors, filtering.
• FPGA development with VHDL/Verilog; timing and validation.
• PCB design with Altium; GD&T and engineering documentation.
• Laboratory testing with advanced equipment; fault diagnosis.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own full electrical hardware development from architecture to production release.
• Define system-level electrical architectures and protection strategies.
• Design high-voltage DC-DC/DC-AC converters and motor-drive electronics.
• Develop FPGA-based control and signal processing; simulate and verify.
• Produce production-ready schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts.
• Support design reviews, DFMEA, and manufacturing feedback.
