Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Sr Electronic Engineer for its Fort Collins, CO location. You will drive design from conception through qualification, collaborating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to bring power electronics products to production.

This role emphasizes robust SMPS development and cross-functional leadership. The position requires 5+ years of engineering experience, a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, and a strong command of English.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated design ability of Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS)
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong verbal and written communication in English

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain simulation models for power supply.
• Responsible for the design, development, and release to manufacturing of switch mode power supply systems.
• Diagnose complex issues with design, field performance, reliability and test yields of products and implement corrective actions.
• Owns the success of the product/system in the end users’ applications.
• Work closely with customers, sales, product management procurement to drive innovation and efficiencies through the design and manufacturing process.
• Manages risk and compliance across area of accountability.
