Job summary

Vicor Corporation is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to own key aspects of the product lifecycle, from concept through release-to-production. You will guide NPI activities, validate power systems, and support customer design-ins with advanced modeling, reference designs, and application notes.

The role emphasizes strong analog design skills, problem solving, and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Design teams to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; MSEE a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in power electronics design and/or applications.
• Excellent understanding of analog design and an analytical approach.

Responsibilities

• Own key aspects of the product lifecycle and contribute to innovation and execution.
• Lead new product development activities from concept to RTP.
• Develop system test boards, test plans, and bench automation for verification.
• Provide technical guidance for end customers and support design-in of products.
• Develop models and tools to help customers select and optimize power solutions.
• Create technical collateral for successful product launches and training for FAEs and sales.
