Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Syracuse, NY seeks a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to lead design of high‑reliability power electronics and motor drivers. You will mentor staff, interact with customers, and drive design verification, thermal and EMI/EMC analyses for aerospace/defense programs.

You will guide interns, test engineers, and technicians, preparing design reviews and presentations, while ensuring schedule and cost targets are met and new processes are evaluated for improved performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of power electronics or analog hardware design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred for Power Electronics.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of high‑reliability power electronics and analog systems.
• Mentor engineers, interns, and technicians on programs.
• Work with customers to meet program requirements and provide design reviews.
• Perform thermal, power dissipation, and EMI/EMC analyses.
• Prepare simulations (SPICE/PSIM) and worst‑case analyses for reviews.
• Develop test circuits and correlate results with design expectations.
