Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to manage product maintenance for the North American market, handling electrical design, schematics, and UL certification. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance while driving innovation in motor control technologies.

This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a track record in power electronics, drive products, and global collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in Power Electronics Design engineering (Electrical system design and Electrical schematics).
• Experience in certification process (especially UL).
• Knowledge of Variable Speed Drives.
• Multicultural and multi-site management - Fluent in English.
• Discernment ability – Act like owner.
• High level of leadership – Clear and simple communication.
• Experience with Drive Products (power conversion, electronics design) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Commercialized offer technical maintenance.
• Electrical design on enclosed product.
• Electrical schematics creation.
• Ensure UL certification requirements are respected across the product life time.
• Identify risks, issues, and manage the associated corrective action plans.
• Enable decision making process.
