Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer, Power Supply Design, based out of Woodland Hills, CA. You will lead detailed analog circuit and power subsystem design, modeling, verification, and transition to production.

Requires aBachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years of experience (or Masters/PhD with fewer years), US Citizenship, and a Secret security clearance; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 12 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 10 years; or a PhD with 8 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of design/analysis/test experience in electrical engineering specializing in power electronics, switch-mode topologies, magnetic design, and feedback controls.
• US Citizenship; Active US Government Secret Security Clearance; on-site work requirement.

Responsibilities

• DesignAnalog circuits and sub-systems, including analog power supply design.
• Perform circuit modeling, simulation, signal integrity, electrical stress, and worst-case analyses.
• Lead design verification and transition to production; troubleshoot to closure across disciplines.
