Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Staff Electrical Engineer, Power Supply Design, based in Woodland Hills, CA. Responsible for analog circuit and power supply design with system-level requirements, verification, and production transition.

Candidates should have advanced degrees and extensive experience in power electronics, switch-mode topologies, and signal integrity, with US citizenship and active Secret clearance. On-site work is required at times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 12 years of relevant experience; or a Master's with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
• 5+ years of design/analysis/test experience in power electronics, switch-mode topologies, magnetic design, and feedback controls.
• Proven capability to design, build, and test power electronics designs.
• Electrical circuit design experience.
• Experience with discrete component power supply design.
• Circuit modeling and simulation experience.
• Schematic capture experience.
• US Citizenship and active US Government Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to work on-site as required.

Responsibilities

• Detailed design of analog circuits and analog power supplies.
• System-level requirements analysis, sub-system requirements development, and design for production.
• Modeling, simulation, signal integrity, electrical stress, and worst-case analysis.
