Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (master's preferred).
• 5+ years of post-degree experience directly designing power electronics, power supplies, or converter products.
• Experience with power conversion hardware including regulated architectures, switching systems, and related technologies.
• Proven ownership of power supply or converter designs, making key engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive power conversion projects from early technical definition through production.
• Design and analyze high-frequency AC/DC and DC/DC power circuitry with appropriate topologies.
• Develop magnetic solutions and address switching behavior, efficiency, stability, thermal performance, and power density.
• Apply simulation and analytical methods to evaluate circuits and validate design decisions.
• Guide PCB/layout decisions with focus on high-frequency behavior, signal integrity, EMC, and overall converter performance.
• Translate product needs into specifications and document design choices.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to troubleshoot hardware and transition to production.
• Support early hardware development, performance testing, and ongoing design refinement.
