Job summary

TT Electronics is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to lead design and development of advanced power electronics for aerospace and defense applications. You will guide architecture, simulations, and validation while mentoring junior engineers across multiple sites in the US.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support proposals, and drive improvements while navigating ITAR requirements and complex production challenges. Applicants must be US Persons under ITAR.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Master's degree preferred.
8+ years of progressive experience in power electronics design.
Demonstrated expertise designing high-performance power conversion systems.
Experience leading complex engineering programs.
Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical reviews.
ITAR/U.S. Person eligibility required.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, development, and integration of complex power electronics systems.
Design advanced isolated and non-isolated power conversion circuits.
Develop system-level power architectures and converter specs.
Perform advanced simulation, modeling, and analysis of designs.
Lead design verification, qualification, and root cause investigations.
Provide technical leadership during design reviews and customer presentations.
Mentor and develop junior engineers.
Guide PCB layout activities and establish design best practices.
Evaluate risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Support proposal development and customer technical discussions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement and engineering standardization.
Support manufacturing through complex production issues.
